Kiwanis Park: The plan is to walk to Kiwanis on Tuesday from 9:00-11:00, weather permitting. Due to the construction there, we're not sure what we be able to do. The playground structure and surrounding area are fenced off. I will drive down there on Monday to assess and make a final decision, so you will receive an email tomorrow. If we do go to Kiwanis, students may bring tennis rackets, kickball/baseball/softball equipment, basketballs, soccer balls, or other outdoor games to play. If we stay at Lincoln, we will watch the movie Felicity, which ties into our study of the American Revolution. Thanks for your flexibility!

Penny Wars: 4th grade won the penny war competition! On Thursday, we will have an extra recess to celebrate. Students may bring a home toy to use during recess. No electronics please. 

Book Clubs: We will have our final book club meeting on Thursday to discuss the end of Hatchet. Thanks for your help making sure your child is prepared!

All About Me: Here is the list for the All About Me for the rest of the year. On their day, kids may bring a show and tell item or photo, share a talent, or bring a home toy.

ABC Countdown: This is the countdown for the end of the year dress up days/activities.  

Math: Last week, we completed unit 8 lessons 1-3. This week we will be finishing strong by continuing with lessons 4-6. 

This Week:

Monday - Memorial Day/No School

Tuesday - PE; Kiwanis Park 9:00-11:00(if playground construction is done)

Wednesday - No Late Start; 5th Grade Kickball Game 10:30; Half Day

Thursday - Half Day

Friday - Half Day/Last Day of School

                                                              Sarett Nature Center : Parents are welcome to meet us at Sarett Nature Center on Friday at 12:00. Please email me if you plan to attend, so I know how to best split up the kids into hiking groups. You will pay the entrance fee when you arrive. Our tour starts at 12:15. Remember to dress for the weather since we will be hiking! MStep Math: W e will start the test on Tuesday and will finish on Wednesday.                                                                                  NWEA Reading: We will take our final NWEA assessment for reading on Tuesday and Wednesday. As always, students are allowed to bring gum, mints, or Jolly Ranchers to "wake up" their brains. Please avoid absences and make sure kids are prepared to show how much they have learned this year! Track Meet: We are in need of a wagon and volunteer to travel with us at the high school on Friday for the track meet. The kids will put their water bottles in the wagon so they can stay hydrated while they compete in the various events.                                                                 Senior Service Project Donations: This week only, please donate if you can. Smart Watches and Phones: Please note that students are not allowed to wear smart watches or have phones during the school day. They may leave them powered off in their backpacks. Thanks for your help keeping everyone safe! Math:  Last week, we completed unit 6/lessons 8-12. This week we will work on lessons 13-17.
