May 5th - 9th

NWEA Reading: We will take our final NWEA assessment for reading on Tuesday and Wednesday. As always, students are allowed to bring gum, mints, or Jolly Ranchers to "wake up" their brains. Please avoid absences and make sure kids are prepared to show how much they have learned this year!
Track Meet: We are in need of a wagon and volunteer to travel with us at the high school on Friday for the track meet. The kids will put their water bottles in the wagon so they can stay hydrated while they compete in the various events. Please email if you have a wagon we can borrow and/or if you can help pull it around. Thank you!
Book Clubs: Many students are reading a book for a book club in our class. Please ask your child what book he or she is reading and when the reading/job is due. Many kids were unprepared last week, which throws off the rest of the group. Ava's mom has kindly offered to come run the book club meetings, so we don't want to waste her time either. Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing meets with me on Wednesdays and Hatchet meets with Mrs. Veenstra on Thursdays. Thanks for your help!
All About Me: Here is the list for the All About Me for the rest of the year. On their day, kids may bring a show and tell item or photo, share a talent, or bring a home toy.
ABC Countdown: This is the countdown for the end of the year dress up days/activities. If you are interested in sending in any of the items, there are a few left here. Thank you!
