NWEA Math: We will take our final NWEA assessment for math on Tuesday and Wednesday. As always, students are allowed to bring gum, mints, or Jolly Ranchers to "wake up" their brains. Please avoid absences and make sure kids are prepared to show how much they have learned this year!

Book Clubs: Many students are reading a book for a book club in our class. Please ask your child if he/she read and completed the job. When kids are unprepared, it throws off the rest of the group. Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing meets with me on Wednesday and Hatchet meets with Mrs. Veenstra on Thursday. Thanks for your help!

All About Me: Here is the list for the All About Me for the rest of the year. On their day, kids may bring a show and tell item or photo, share a talent, or bring a home toy.

ABC Countdown: This is the countdown for the end of the year dress up days/activities. If you are interested in sending in any of the items, there are a few left here. Thank you! 

Math: Last week, we completed lessons 9- 11. This week we will be working on unit 7/lessons 12-15. Extra practice using the IXL textbook is available for those who struggle. Your child can also front load and work on the upcoming lessons to feel more confident in class!

Music: Please continue to send recorders to school on Thursdays.

Birthday Treats: We have students with allergies to gluten, tree nuts, and dairy. Please try to be mindful if you send a birthday snack with these items. I do have Skittles for those affected. Thanks for helping to keep everyone safe!

                                                              Sarett Nature Center : Parents are welcome to meet us at Sarett Nature Center on Friday at 12:00. Please email me if you plan to attend, so I know how to best split up the kids into hiking groups. You will pay the entrance fee when you arrive. Our tour starts at 12:15. Remember to dress for the weather since we will be hiking! MStep Math: W e will start the test on Tuesday and will finish on Wednesday. As always, students are allowed to bring gum, mints, or Jolly Ranchers to "wake up" their brains. Please avoid absences and make sure kids are prepared to show how much they have learned this year! Track Meet: We are in need of a wagon and volunteer to travel with us at the high school on Friday for the track meet. The kids will put their water bottles in the wagon so they can stay hydrated while they compete in the various events.                                                                 Senior Service Project Donations: This week only, please donate if you can. Smart Watches and Phones: Please note that students are not allowed to wear smart watches or have phones during the school day. They may leave them powered off in their backpacks.
