Lansing Trip: We will be going to Lansing on Friday, May 2nd. Due to the length of the day, we wanted to get some information out to you ahead of time. Please see the email with all the necessary information or click here. 

Math: Last week, we completed unit 6/lessons 22-24. This week we will take the unit 6 assessment and will begin unit 7. Extra practice using the IXL textbook is available for those who struggle. Your child can also front load and work on the upcoming lessons to feel more confident in class!

Music: The 4th grade performance is on Tuesday at 1:05. Students should wear red, white, and blue and bring their recorders to school. The night time performance will be on Wednesday at 5:45 at the high school. Students should plan to arrive at 5:35 wearing red, white, and blue with their recorders. They should stay with their parents until they are called to the stage by Mrs. Richards at the start of the performance at 5:45. All are welcome to attend! 

All About Me!: Every student has had a chance to be the All About Me student this year. From now on, each child will get a day to share something special with the class. They also get to sit in the gaming chair that day, which is a big deal to them! This week's schedule will be Ava-Mon., Reed-Tues., Marguerite-Wed., Myles-Thurs., and Zelda-Fri. 

Sarett Nature Center: Parents are welcome to meet us at Sarett Nature Center on Friday, April 25th at 12:00. You will pay the entrance fee when you arrive. Our tour starts at 12:15. Remember to dress for the weather since we will be hiking!

Birthday Treats: We have students with allergies to gluten, tree nuts, and dairy. Please try to be mindful if you send a birthday snack with these items. I do have Skittles for those affected. Thanks for helping to keep everyone safe!

                                                                                 NWEA Reading: We will take our final NWEA assessment for reading on Tuesday and Wednesday. As always, students are allowed to bring gum, mints, or Jolly Ranchers to "wake up" their brains. Please avoid absences and make sure kids are prepared to show how much they have learned this year! Track Meet: We are in need of a wagon and volunteer to travel with us at the high school on Friday for the track meet. The kids will put their water bottles in the wagon so they can stay hydrated while they compete in the various events.                                                                 Senior Service Project Donations: This week only, please donate if you can. Smart Watches and Phones: Please note that students are not allowed to wear smart watches or have phones during the school day. They may leave them powered off in their backpacks.
