Safety Patrol: If your child has any interest in participating in Safety Patrol this year, please have them attend an informational meeting with Mrs. Fiesbeck (Room 107) on Tuesday, October 1st at 8:15am. If, after hearing about how Safety Patrol will work this year, your child is interested, this form will need to be completed before they will be given a post. Forms need to be completed by Friday, October 4th. On Tuesday, October 8 from 3:55pm-4:15pm there will be a Kickoff Meeting in Mrs. Fiesbeck's classroom. Bookmarks/Nightly Reading Homework: The majority of the class is reading nightly and bringing completed bookmarks to school. When they finish the books, the next step is to write a summary and theme on the back. They can do this at school or home. Thanks for your help instilling responsibility and the love of reading!
All About Me!: Each week a student is the All About Me student. They have completed a poster in class and get to share special things about themselves each day. When it is your child's turn, I will send home a paper stating everything he or she needs. Marguerite is up this week!
Fall Conference Signups: When you sign up for a conference time, remember to pick a time when your child can attend with you. Conference sign-ups are available here! I still need 9 more parents to sign up. Please let me know if the dates listed won't work for you and we can pick a different time. We will have our conferences now instead of during the November half days.
Snacks & Class Donations: We are running low on class snacks. If you are willing to donate, apples and bananas are best for quick, healthy snacks. We are also low on paper towels. Thank you!
Birthday Treats: We have students with allergies to gluten, tree nuts, and dairy. Please try to be mindful if you send a birthday snack with these items. I do have Skittles for those affected. Thanks for helping to keep everyone safe!
